The history of western science is inextricably tied with colonialism. We are privileged to do research in the Galapagos and we work to mitigate parachute science.

In collaboration with colleagues at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the Charles Darwin Foundation we run a series of 2-day educational workshops about bird conservation for students, land managers, park rangers, and other conservation professionals in the Galapagos. See our photos below!
